The 1st Test match between England and India came to a climax, where both teams had equal opportunity to make a good start in the series. On the Final day, England needs 350 runs to win. Meanwhile, India needs 10 wickets to win.

India concluded the second innings with a huge 364 runs on the fourth day. India set a target of 371 runs, and England ended Day 4 at 21/0, needing 350 more runs to win on Day 5.

England had scored 21 runs without losing any wickets at stumps. Indian fans are also looking forward to the outstanding bowling performance from the Indian Bowling unit to win the match.

195 runs Partnership by Rahul and Pant

On the fourth day, Indian batters Rahul and Pant shared a significant 195-run partnership, which strengthened the Innings. This partnership helped India to post a good score in the Second Innings.

Apart from that, both of them scored a century, where KL Rahul scored 137 runs off 247 balls and Rishabh Pant scored 118 runs off 140 balls.

Therefore, Pant has also created several records in this match, such as becoming the first Indian wicketkeeper and the fifth overall batsman to score centuries in both innings of a Test match abroad.
