Axar Patel took three wickets and Rinku Singh hit a 29-ball 46 as India defeated Australia by 20 runs in the fourth T20I of the five-match series on Friday at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. Suryakumar Yadav's squad bounced back in style after losing to the current ODI World Cup champion in Guwahati with a clinical effort to grab an unassailable 3-1 lead.
Batting first, India used a late blitz by Rinku and Jitesh Sharma to register a daunting 174/9 in 20 overs. In response, Australia was held to 154/7 in 20 overs. While Axar grabbed three wickets, Deepak Chahar took two, while Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan each took one.
