Xbox 360, PS3 Games Getting Remastered?

Darksiders 4 will be coming in the future, as it was revealed in the summer of 2025. The news about the Darksiders franchise in general has been low over the decade, and the new entry did not make it consistent. The morsels of the Darksiders have come from the remasters and ports, a practice of THQ Nordic, which has indulged again with its announcement of the new version of Darksiders Warmastered Edition.

According to THQ Nordic, the Darksiders Warmastered Edition is about to launch on May 19th on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. It will have better visuals, performance and also all previously released content. This will make it a better experience for the modern platforms.

Looking at the list,t we can see PlayStation Store has a bit more details and states for this version as it has new photo mode, native 4k rendering, which will run at smooth 60 FPS and also supports Activities on PS5. Looking at the Xbox, the list is not up to the mark; the first three features can also be applied to the Xbox too, but there are technical cutbacks to the Xbox Series S Version not stand well. If we go in depth, we can have ray tracing support, better lighting and shadows and also the haptic feedback for the DualSense on PS5.

The original Darksiders was released back in 2010. It was inspired by the Legend of Zelda games, but with a focus on the God of War combat style. THQ has not yet confirmed that the upgrades which are mentioned are free for the previous people who have owned the game, but the Darksiders 2 remastered version was available for no extra cost for the existing owners. Well, let’s see if it applies to this as well. The physical version will be available for $29.99, but the digital version has not yet been cleared; it might be around $19.99.
