Harshit Rana of KKR ruled out of IPL 2026 Season.
Kolkata Knight Riders will be playing this IPL without Harshit Rana, as he was ruled out of the IPL 2026 on Friday. The fast pacer has suffered a ligament strain in his right knee during the T20 World Cup warm-up game against South Africa. Later, he underwent surgery in February, which required a rehabilitation process.
It might be a big impact as Hasrshit Rana has been an integral part of the KKR team for the last couple of seasons, along with their championship season. KKR head coach Abhishek Nayar also said Without giving a confirmed timeline for Harshit’s return, it is not easy to replace him. Also,o we can say that KKR has looked over a few bowlers as to who fits in and who can do that role to the best of their abilities.

There has been a second injury to a pacer in the KKR camp, with their Sri Lankan pacer Matheesha Pathiran, who is also suffering an injury. He is also yet to go under a Physical Performance Test, as he is still under rehabilitation to recover from the injury sustained. He will be going under the performance test as soon as his rehabilitation programs finish.
KKR team is working on their bowling team, as we have seen some players like Navdeep Saini, Aksah Madhwal, Simarjeet Singh, etc. in Eden Gardens this week in their training for the IPL. The IPL will be starting from March 28, and the first match of KKR will be on April 2 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
