ENG vs IND 2025: India could have chased 193 at Lord-Sourav Ganguly

Jadeja been exceptional, he is going to continue to play for India as long as he bats and performs like now. India fell agonisingly short of winning the third Test against England at the lord Cricket Ground as they have failed to chase down the 193-run target. Veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was also a lone warrior, scoring an unbeaten 61 off 181 balls as India were dismissed for 170 in the final session on Day 5.
Former India captain Sourav Ganguly also cut a disappointed figure which was felt that Shubman Gill led to the side which should have chased down the target, highlighting the fight showcased by Jadeja and the quality of the rest of the batters in the lineup.
On July 15 Ganguly also said that he is a bit disappointed in the way India batted in the series, they could have got 190. He also added that when we see Jadeja fight and score runs, batting quality in the team, and they will be more disappointed than he is because it was an opportunity to get 2-1 up in the series against England.

Jadeja contemporaries, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, retired from Test Cricket during the Indian Premier League(IPL) earlier this year. The Saurashtra remains a regular feature in the longest format for the Asia giants. Ganguly reflected on Jadeja experience and described him as the part of the India red ball setup.
Jadeja has been exceptional, he will also going to conitune to play for India as long he bats and perform similar like now. He also been around long enough and people can see him batting, bowling and fielding. He is a unique player and his batting has really improved over the years with the experience last Ganguly stated.
